Jewellery is something that most people can’t live without and this is the case for both men and women.

I believe that the jewellery I wear helps me bring out my personality as like most men and women they wear jewellery that helps them create a unique style that may represent their personality and to create a bold statement. Jewellery can be used to express a unique identity. In some cases people use jewellery to set a style trend amongst friends or follow the latest fashion trends.

Not only using jewellery as a bold statement but other reasons suggest people use jewellery as a way of showing off wealth and social class.

When referring to jewellery it can be used as that memorable item, this is where you remember the place you bought the piece from or that special someone who bought you the piece as a gift. This means the piece has a sentimental value for example a family hare loom. From this you can say that jewellery has a different meaning for each person.

To some jewellery may not have a meaning just a purpose that simply the jewellery is just to complete an outfit or that is practical and that they buy jewellery that is suitable for every occasion.

The RYI2000 comes completely assembled. All you have to do is put in the oil and gas, and go. After you have initially started the RYI2200, it’s just a matter of GO! Of course, you will want to check the oil before starting, but you don’t have to put oil in every time you use it.

Everything I have read or seen concerning the RYI2200 is that it is as quiet as a normal conversation. Obviously, I was skeptical, but willing to give it a try. What I found was, it is quieter than a normal conversation. You heard me right. With the RYI2200 running, I can carry on a “normal” conversation while it’s running. If it was as loud as me, I would have to raise my voice to be heard, but I didn’t have to raise my voice to be heard. However, that is with just the RYI2200 running. If you are running a power tool on top of it, your power tool will drown out the RYI2200 and all you will hear is the power tool.

Obviously the RYI2200 cannot run everything in your home, however, you can alternate appliances and save you frozen and refrigerated items while keeping yourself warm while the electricity is down (providing you have enough gas on hand.

According to the manual, you can supply yourself with enough power to run a radio, your laptop, a portable fan, a 46” flat panel TV, a slow cooker, and twelve 75 watt bulbs all at the same time. Now that’s some power. Some wattages may vary, and you should check your own appliances, but this unit can supply quite a bit of power. Power tools take up greater amounts of electricity, but you can easily power almost any power tool.

The 12 volt DC outlet is designed to charge vented wet-cell batteries only. Any battery that has the removable caps for replenishing the electrolyte solution fits this criterion. They also suggest not using the unit for “jump-starting” you car as it may damage the electronics of the car.

The unit weighs 51 pounds. I know that sounds like a lot, but Ryobi didn’t want you to struggle too hard. They included wheels and an extendable/retractable handle. This allows you to wheel it wherever you want by yourself. And if it needs to be lifted onto a truck, car, or up Mount Everest, it has two handles so that you and a friend can carry or lift it to wherever you want to go.

It has an LED readout so that you will know if it is powering, overloading, or low on oil. All of these are good to know and you can easily see it on the front panel. The RYI2200 also is equipped with circuit breakers in case of an accidental overload. Let’s face it, we aren’t all electrical engineers here and accidents happen, and when it does, you trip a breaker instead of damaging the generator.

If you want to link two of them together, Ryobi has a parallel kit that you can use to link them together for more power. And the parallel kit is no harder than plugging it in and there you go.

I read the operator’s manual before starting and I suggest you do the same. It goes through the do’s and don’ts so that you can enjoy your generator for years to come.

And it’s all covered by Ryobi’s 3 year limited warranty. The reason it’s a limited warranty is because if you are doing something that will damage your generator, like pouring battery acid into the gas tank and tring to run it, Ryobi isn’t going to replace your generator when things go bad, but if something quits working right with your unit, Ryobi absolutely stands behind their product. In fact, I have some older Ryobi tools, and yes they are still working, but I can see a definite improvement in Ryobi’s quality. They are really stepping up their game and producing “Top-of-the-Line” products. I wouldn’t be surprised to see their prices rise in the future, so if you want a good product, don’t wait 2-3 years, get it now while the price is low.

Stressing the Importance of Family

Long before you became a parent I am sure you heard mothers all around you saying they wish their kids would be little again. Now that you have become one yourself I would be willing to bet that you have said the same thing a time or two.

What happens as kids grow is they tend to separate themselves from us. Watching them get on the bus or dropping them off at their first sleepover can be a moment filled with tears for even the toughest of mothers. It’s normal to wish that they would always be your cuddle bugs and won’t ever shun you in public. But that isn’t realistic. As you watch them transition from baby to toddler and all the way up to adult, it is important to block out family time. Your sassy teenager is probably going to have a sour face when you make her go bowling on a Friday night, especially in the moment that her friends from school show up. Who cares, she will eventually get over it and you are instilling the importance of family.

There will come a time that they will need you, and by enforcing family bonding moments they will know that you want to be there. Through these times you will learn about each other and as your kids grow you will want to let them know more about you. Dear Stranger, I Love Your Accessories

What’s the first thing you notice about someone you just met? For me, I tend to go right for the accessories they are wearing. Yup, I’m an accessories girl. I love purses, shoes, jewelery, scarves and hats. I love to mix and match them in ways that standout and #GetNoticed.

Don’t get me wrong, I notice the person, and their personality too, but remember I’m talking about someone I just met, it’s hard to size someone up in just a matter of seconds. Typically getting to know what a person is like on the inside take a great deal of time. So, when I met someone for the first time, I simply size up their accessories and how they may fit into their personality.

For example, I recently met a young woman who was wearing a cute black dress, draping a double strand of pearls, and toting the cutest red bag. But what I noticed most was she was wearing a pair of red tennis shoes with this classy little bit. And, while her red tennis shoes certainty didn’t go with her awesome dress and bag, she somehow managed to pull this getup off!

Something that really isn’t my style but so well worn on another is simply inspiring. It made me think about my outfits and how I put them together. Simply switching out a pair of dress shoes for a down-to-earth pair of tennis shoes can actually tell a lot about a person and their personality.

What’s the first thing you noticed about the person walking though the store that smiles at you as they pass? Or what about the cashier that simply says hello when checking out your items. And let’s not forget the cashier that totally ignores you though the entire transaction? What do you notice about them? Do you wonder what their life is like? Do you wonder if they are happy or sad? Do you feel inspired by their personality?

Like I said, for me it’s hard to size someones personality up in just a matter of minutes. Looking at their accessories or lack of, can often help me match them with a personality type. Which I’m sure isn’t an accurate personality type. For example, on Sunday I may drive to the store in my sweats and get the newspaper. I’m certainty not wearing any bling at this hour. If someone were to size me up simply by the clothes I’m wearing, they may think I’m a simply housewife with now worries in the world. However, if I put on my Sunday best and run out for the newspaper, they may think I’m on may way to Church.

See, there simply isn’t a sure-fire way to size someone up simple by the way they dress. But, it sure is fun trying and wondering.

The final Woolworth store downed its shutters just over four years ago. Its closure marked the end of an era and heralded the onset of turbulence in the retail arena. The economic downtrend that began in the year 2000 saw more than 25,000 town-centre stores closing shop. Today, one out of nine shops has fallen prey to recession and lies abandoned or vacant. Consumers have been tightening their purse-strings and have shown no signs of loosening them any time in the near future.

Virtual stores are another major threat to traditional brick and mortar stores. Products that are sold online tend to be cheaper and customers automatically gravitate towards them. Convenience is also another big contributing factor as to why online shopping is gaining in popularity.

Over the last year, prominent High Street names such as JJB Sports, Cornet, Blockbusters and HMV have been hit hard. Die-hard shoppers have also been left reeling in the wake of the losses in the retail sector. However, despite the complete ebb in businesses in High Street, it would be a little a little too early to proclaim that High Street is dead. Some stores have collapsed entirely and moved into bankruptcy and thousands have been left jobless. On the other hand, some stores have managed to keep their neck above water by attracting heavy-duty investors.

John Lewis has been one of the lucky businesses that recorded an increase of 11% in sales in the period from Nov- Dec 2012 in comparison to the same period in 2011. They look beautiful and elegant – everything that belongs on a wedding invitation. If you want to do something a little bit more unusual, consider not including your address at all on the outside envelope. Instead, splurge on a rubber stamp that has the wedding couple’s names inside a heart. Stamp that heart in the upper left-hand corner in different colors. It gives your invitations a handmade feel and will set you apart.

Of course, if even that requires a time commitment you can’t afford right now, you can always get the return addresses printed onto the outer envelopes. Sometimes the company that provided the invitations is willing to do this, but if not, you can go to any local print shops and pay for them to print your return addresses on the envelopes in an elegant font.
